If you are between 15 and 25 years old and you have an idea or script for shooting a short film, we invite you to apply for participation at workshops for development of your first films with experts from the First Film First platform (www.firstfilmsfirst.com).
As part of the "Culture and Creativity for the Western Balkans" project, the EDU CUTS network is announcing a call for young filmmakers with the aim of accelerating their knowledge and skills. It is a unique opportunity for young talents from Western Balkans to develop and shoot their first short films with support of film experts.
The first workshop will start in the second half of May with more participants and will be realized in 5 working days during 2 weeks (according to the needs and progress of the projects).
In June for the second workshop, the best projects from the first workshop will be qualified, as well as more advanced projects that are ready for production and will be able to apply directly for the second workshop.
Both workshops will take place online through the ZOOM platform.
If you are interested in another type of video content production for a young audience (mini-series, podcasts, etc.), you can also apply.

Participation in workshops involves education, interactions with experts and peers from Western Balkan Countries who share common interests in the production of video content with readiness for teamwork under the supervision of the mentors.
AWARDS: The best three projects will receive support with free use of filming equipment to
shoot their short films. (6K camera, lenses, sound, etc.)
WHO CAN APPLY?
15-25 years old High school students, Films school students (film and television directing, production, camera, editing, script writing/dramaturgy), influencers, professionals, semi-professionals or amateurs from Western Balkans.
Workshops are free of charge for all participants.
Note: knowledge of the English language is required to participate in the workshops.
