A total of 32 young people will receive support to participate free of charge in workshops at film festivals, within the "Culture and Creativity for the Western Balkans" project, organized by the Edu Cuts Network of Film Festivals and Organizations.

40 young people were registered for the call, of which 33 girls and 7 boys, 16 from Macedonia, 15 from Bosnia and Herzegovina, 5 from Serbia, 2 each from Montenegro and Albania. The majority of those registered (33) are high school students, and seven are students. The eight young people who were not supported did not receive confirmation that they were accepted to participate in film festivals.

At the open call for mobility, travel expenses for participation in the Youth Film Festival in Sarajevo will be covered for 24 young people, 12 of whom are from Bosnia and Herzegovina, 8 from Macedonia and 4 from Serbia. A further seven participants have been supported to travel to Užice, Serbia for the Teen Doc workshop within the Interakcja Documentary Film Festival. Two participants each from Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania and one participant from Montenegro will attend this workshop.

"Culture and Creativity for the Western Balkans" funded by the European Union and supported by the British Council, in order to encourage dialogue in the Western Balkans by strengthening the cultural and creative sectors for increased socio-economic impact.

The network of film festivals and organizations Edu Cuts, motivated by the great interest, continues to support young talents from the Western Balkans.
